Une soirée typique à Paris

Here is a summary of tonight: Lauren and I went to Montmartre for a stroll and hot chocolate; we got accosted thrice by the same homeless guy for money; we watched a cat catch a mouse (directly under our feet in our chosen café!); we then watched fifty or so North Africans attempt to avoid receiving tickets for not paying to ride the metro; and then, we witnessed a near fight between and drunk and an old man over an alleged pick-pocket attempt. Paris, je t'aime.

Hot Chocolate

Friday, I met Lauren for hot chocolate at Café Bastille when she got off work. The stuff costs six euros, but it is some of the richest, darkest hot chocolate you will have. I don't think it upstages Angelina, but it is a close second and you get a couple cups worth.

Our legs as we rode home on the métro.

Chocolat Chaud

Its been blogged about a million times over by all tourists, but I can no longer blame anyone. When its the "real thing," you can't talk too much about it. Angelina has the best hot chocolate on Earth.
We had some mini-macaroons as well, but the hot chocolate over shadowed them.
