For Thanksgiving, our friends Kirby and Jes came to visit for a few days or so. We showed them around Paris a bit, but made certain the holiday stayed as American as possible. It was nearly impossible to find cranberries, sweet potatoes, pecans, or pumpkin pie mix, but we managed with what we purchased at ELeclerc. Since Margaret was the only one of us with a big enough apartment to house everyone, she hosted dinner. In the end it was Kirby, Jes, David and I, Margaret, and our friend who was also an english assistant in the same town as me, Eddie.
