We've been wanting to find some affordable sushi places to frequent since we got to Paris. Seeing as we ate sushi together the first time we met, and we ate sushi nearly once a week together after that, this has been weighing on us. So, we tried a sushi gig in the ninth (St. Georges) with our friend Margot: not bad. For a few rolls and some miso soup it ended up being like 17 euro.
We left on a quest into the Latin Quarter to find some late night gelato. As we were waiting for the metro some drunk guy approached us asking for directions. He was very friendly and totally out-of-his-mind drunk. The guy was really funny; he was loud on metro and made everyone laugh as he spoke to us. He did compliment our french, which was nice. It was just the kind of experience you'd want to have in Paris late at night.
We made it to a nice gelato place called Amorino in the Latin Quarter and spent an hour or so just talking as we waited out the rain.
