London=Best Place Ever

Just came back from London (aka paradise) to start work in Paris again. I have to admit, I'm dragging my feet so far. Lauren and I have big goals for this year though.
I'll post some pictures of London escapades soon.

Steep Steps

This is Lauren and I standing in our stairway. Our friend Dan Shaw came to visit us for a couple days at the end of his Europe trip and he wanted to get a picture of us here. We got nine (American) floors of these babies anytime we want to go anywhere--ANYWHERE. There is no such thing as, "Honey, can you run to the store and grab some butter?" when you have these things to mess with. I think you get the picture.

We went to see the Invader expo at la Générale on Saturday. Its pretty cool to see how into it he is... Lauren also went to have brunch at La Durée in the morning and I twisted my ankle skating in the afternoon! That about sums it up.

Vélib

Today was the first day we rode bikes in Paris. We went down to Bastille to buy some film, only to rediscover that all the photography places are closed on Saturdays. So, we got some food and rented bikes. It was a lot of fun, and is for sure the best way to see Paris. I saw a cathedral at St. Lazare that I'd never seen as well as la place des victoires. Riding all the way home from Bastille wasn't even that difficult; we only had one little hill to tackle and we traversed most of the city. Its a new beginning...
